About Almogía

Nestled in the foothills of Mount Sancti Petri, the village of Almogía is in the province of Málaga and offers breath-taking views across the Guadalhorce Valley.
Almogía extends across the Cerro de la Peña, in the heart of the Montes de Málaga region, and offers spectacular panoramas surrounded as it is by hills and ravines. This rich landscape is abundant in olive, almond, and pine trees.
The municipal area stretches from the mountain range of the Torcal de los Montes de Málaga, to the north, to the outskirts of the Hoya de Málaga, to the south. In this vast territory, the landscape is dominated by generally elongated ridges and rounded forms, with the highest point being Mount Sancti Petri at 797 metres.
